Addison Turnauer

I’m originally from Richmond, Virginia, and currently live in Columbia, South Carolina, but I’m able to relocate for the right position. I’m a junior at the University of South Carolina, double-majoring in Marketing and Human Resource Management with a minor in Political Science on the pre-law track. After graduating in May 2027, I plan to attend law school and earn my J.D. with a concentration in sports law.

My passion for sports and people has guided me my entire life. From the moment I could walk, my parents put me into sports, and they love to tell the story of how my first word was “basketball”. During high school, I played softball and basketball, playing for my high school and some of the best club teams in the country. I’ve always been drawn to the energy, connection, and sense of community that sports create. I also have a deep passion for helping others, something instilled in me by my parents. I’ve volunteered with many organizations in Richmond and Columbia, but I always feel most fulfilled when I’m working with young athletes.

I wasn’t sure what my future would look like when I decided to attend USC and not play sports in college, but I quickly became involved in the business side of professional sports, which has allowed me to continue pursuing my passion in new ways. From working two major golf tournaments to doing the chicken dance on the dugout at minor league baseball games, I’ve learned that helping execute games and events can be even more fulfilling than playing in them.

My ultimate goal is to run my own sports agency and specialize in representing international baseball players. Along the way, I hope to work for as many different teams as I can to build my network and experience!
